Data Centers Denmark returns to Copenhagen on 29–30 April 2026, bringing together more than 500 decision-makers from across Europe at a time when pressure on energy systems and digital infrastructure continues to increase.

Now expanded to a two-day conference, this year’s event reflects both the scale and urgency of the challenge. Demand for AI, cloud, and digital services is growing fast, while energy infrastructure and policy frameworks are struggling to keep pace.

Organized by Danish Data Center Industry, the conference brings together leaders from across the data center, energy, and technology sectors, with a strong focus on Denmark, the Nordics, and Europe.

“Digital infrastructure is no longer a niche topic. It is a question of how we prioritize and plan strategic infrastructure in Europe,” says Henrik Hansen, CEO of Danish Data Center Industry. “Demand is accelerating, pressure on the energy system is increasing, and the need for coordination across sectors is no longer optional.”

From grid capacity to AI-driven demand

The 2026 program reflects the full scope of the challenge. Day one focuses on energy systems, grid capacity, the European policy landscape, and how infrastructure planning and electricity systems need to evolve to accommodate new forms of demand.

Day two shifts to the technologies driving that demand, including AI, high-performance computing, and emerging fields such as quantum, and how they are changing requirements for digital infrastructure.

The conference will also feature the launch of the annual Danish Data Center Industry market report, offering updated insights into market developments, investment trends, and the evolving role of data centers in the broader economy.

“We’ve designed the program to reflect the reality the industry is facing. Energy, infrastructure, and digital demand are no longer separate discussions. That’s why day one focuses on energy and policy, while day two shifts to the trends driving demand. The market report builds on this by grounding the discussion in data and current developments,” says Merima Dzanic, Head of Strategy & Operations at Danish Data Center Industry.

Record scale reflects growing urgency

With more than 500 expected participants, Data Centers Denmark 2026 will be the largest edition to date. The increase reflects growing attention from both industry and adjacent sectors.

The conference brings together stakeholders from across the ecosystem, including technology providers, data center operators, energy companies, and industrial users.

Industry collaboration at the center

Schneider Electric joins as headline partner for the 2026 conference with a focus on the intersection between energy systems and digital infrastructure.

“AI infrastructure is entering a new era of scale, speed, and efficiency - and Schneider Electric is proud to support our customers and partners through this transformation,” says Sebastian Boetcher, Schneider Electric.

“I’m also humbled to share that Data Centre Magazine recently ranked Schneider Electric as the #1 company in its ‘Top 10: Liquid Cooling Companies.’ This recognition reflects the expertise and teamwork happening across our organization, especially as AI and high‑density compute push data centers to new thermal limits and make liquid cooling more essential than ever. Together with NVIDIA, AVEVA, and our Motivair liquid‑cooling specialists, we are pleased to share validated blueprints and breakthrough technologies that help our customers and partners rethink how gigawatt‑scale AI data centers are designed, built, powered, and cooled.”

Siemens joins the conference as platinum partner.

Strong interest in the event has resulted in an additional 8 gold sponsors, 5 silver partners, 15 exhibitors, and 5 innovation partners.

A critical moment for Denmark and Europe

Taking place in the weeks following the Danish general election, the conference arrives at a pivotal moment for discussions on infrastructure, energy, and industrial development.

While rooted in Denmark and the Nordics, the conference themes reflect a broader European challenge. How do we ensure that digital infrastructure can scale in line with climate ambitions and economic competitiveness? Data Centers Denmark 2026 brings that discussion into one place.
