New from the industry: STACK Infrastructure EMEA, who owns and operates two data centers in Denmark, is selling its European colocation data centers to investment fund Apollo.

The 4 th annual DDI Awards will be held on 14 May 2025. The DDI Awards highlight great innovations, cutting-edge technologies, partnerships, projects, and teams making a difference in the region.  DDI and the 2025 category sponsors are proud to announce the shortlists for the 2025 DDI Awards. A total of nine awards will be given to people and projects who have made a difference in the regional industry. New awards this year include “Municipality of the year”, “Data Center Digital Transformation Project”, and “Equality & Inclusion.”

We are pleased to announce a collaboration between Danish Data Center Industry, Digital Infrastructure Ireland, and Enterprise Ireland with a series of events throughout 2025. The aim is to connect the Danish and Irish markets, exchange ideas, and explore partnership opportunities across borders.

In a changed geopolitical situation and rapidly evolving digital landscape, security suddenly tops the agenda in many companies, and safeguarding our digital infrastructure and data centers is more crucial than ever. In June last year, the UK was hit by a serious ransomware attack on a system that operates in several of the nation’s hospitals. The consequences were far-reaching: over 1700 planned operations had to be postponed and many thousands of outpatient treatments had to be postponed or canceled. The vulnerability of our digital society was suddenly exposed with potentially fatal consequences.  This was the backdrop for the spring networking meetup of the Danish Data Center Industry, which for the first time centered around a single theme: protection of digital infrastructure.
