Data Centers Denmark Conference & Expo 2025: How to balance sustainability while delivering on future IT needs

The annual event invites experts from all over the world to discuss how to design, build, and operate future AI and Cloud Infrastructure. The event is set to connect over 400 decision-makers from Europe and the US

Data Centers Denmark 2025 will take place on 15 May at Hangar Clarion in Copenhagen. The conference is organized by the Danish Data Center Industry and includes international speakers and expert panels, with a primary focus on the Nordics. Breakout sessions and tech talks will provide opportunities to explore case studies or go in-depth on niche topics within data center and cloud sustainability.


Joining conference will be Lars Aagaard, the Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities, addressing how to unlock AI’s potential for a sustainable society with digital policy.

The program includes keynotes and panelists representing various industry verticals, from pharmaceutical and heavy industry to research, emphasizing how AI and digital transformation is transforming the future of IT strategies.

With a core focus on sustainability and growing power demands, the conference will address both the challenges facing the industry as well as potential solutions. Panelists will discuss how the growth of AI is disrupting the data center industry and how to deliver on future IT needs while balancing sustainability.

As is tradition, the annual DDI awards will be held on 14 May 2025, the evening before the conference. The DDI awards highlight great innovations, cutting-edge technologies, partnerships, projects, and teams.

 

New awards this year include ‘Equality & Inclusion’, Data Center Municipality of the Year’, and ‘Data Center Digital Transformation Project of the Year." A total of nine awards will be given to people and projects who have made a difference in the regional industry.
