In addition to returning to the global congress with the Nordic Pavillon, the Nordic NTAs are nominated for the Datacloud Global Awards in the Best Community engagement category for their work with Nordic Data Center Week in 2024.
Datacloud Global Congress takes place June 3-5 in Cannes and will see over 2,500 senior decision makers gathering in the heart of the French Riviera, Cannes, to network, close deals and gain insights from world-class digital infrastructure experts.

Nordic Pavillon returns to highlight the Nordic advantage
Following the successful launch in 2024, the Nordic Data Center Industry associations will once again represent the Nordics in the Nordic Data Center Pavilion.
At the joint pavilion, DDI will be ready to discuss why hyperscalers such as Apple, Meta, Microsoft, and Google have already chosen Denmark, and why the Danish data center industry continues to be a high-growth market.
Henrik Hansen, CEO of Danish Data Center Industry, explains: “We believe the Nordics will absorb a large part of the AI workloads in the coming years. The strong ecosystem combined with reliable and sustainable energy sources, mild climate, and advanced district energy network, makes Denmark and the Nordics the ideal location for data centers of the future.”
Panel: What you should learn from the Nordics
The Nordics boast renewable energy resources, including hydropower, wind, and geothermal power. These options provide the type of energy needed to power data centers without relying on fossil fuels, reducing carbon emissions and environmental impact
In a highly anticipated panel, Nordic data center experts will share the lessons learnt when accessing renewable power sources.
Isabelle Kemlin of RISE and SweDCI will moderate the panel consisting of Martha Maria Øberg (Senior Vice President - Stattnett), Anders Mathiesen (Partner and Head of Energy & Data Centers - Thylander group) and Eyjólfur Magnús Kristinsson (CEO – atNorth).
